ReplyDeleteYes. Children have a natural inclination to express themselves through language especially their mother tongue. They learn the language when they frequently hear it. Songs, poems and other media of communication play a important role in children learning a particular language.
DeleteChildren learn the languages as per their own need.The languages the children know are markers of their identities.Children learn conventional usage of language at their pace and through meaningful inputs.

DeleteYes we can easily understand when a child imitate language of other person of home, also when they listen any song or poem they imitate same to same whole day so we should provide them a joyful learning environment in which song poem with act should be implemented.

ReplyDeleteyes children have a natural inclination for learning language .communication and interaction is the key.Infants start without knowing a language, yet by 10 months, babies can distinguish speech sounds and engage in babbling. even before birth ,starts to recognize the sounds and speech patterns of its mother's voice and differentiate them from other sounds after birth.

Yes, I have noticed even very small babies trying to sound words and scribble on walls.

Yes. A child always wants to express his/her thought and ideas to interact with other people. and for this language is the best medium. Child always prefers to express in mother tongue or the language he/she is well acquainted from the early level. It may also be a foreign language, but because the child is listening from the birth, he/she is inclined towards that language.
ReplyDeleteYes, undoubtedly, children have a natural inclination and instinct to learn a language. Were it not be so, a child would not learn any language, including its mother tongue in spite of living with its family throughout its life. A child is happy to express its own ideas and thinking. As far as learning through medium of language is concerned, a child prefers a language it is well acquainted and comfortable with, i.e. its mother tongue at the first place. Gradually, a child fosters its interest in other language but that too through a medium of its favourite language.

ReplyDeleteYes, it is correct that children learn the language which they hear a lot from their birth till they start talking. Vocabulary is by inherent in them and with least difficulty they start talking in their mother tongue or in any other language they hear, may be Hindi , English or any other.

ReplyDeleteChildren have a natural inclination for learning language, as they need to express their needs, feelings, ideas, likes and dislikes. All these need a medium of expression, which is mostly at the initial stage, their mother tongue or home language. Later when they are in a multilingual environment they learn the second or third language to communicate with others. Higher levels of learning also takes place and becomes effective through the medium of languages learnt.

ReplyDeleteyes, every living being have a natural instinct to express, so does a human child, whether its crying at infancy or copying voice, lip movement, imitating elders words, all are the signs of this natural instinct, hence child learns mother tongue naturally, and language of neighborhood surrounding faster than elders.
