  2. Although an attempt is made to account for the differences in students, i have not been very successful in accommodating every students due to the time constraint. The benefits of accounting for variation in learning are tremendous as no child is then left behind and is allowed to learn at his or her own pace without any inhibitions ..It would be an ideal situation. However, with limited time with both students and teachers as well as due to the large numbers we are dealing with, the success of such a venture would remain to be seen

I always plan activities according to need and interest of students. but sometimes due to shortage of time and large number of students I faced difficulties in teaching the children according to their need and pace. I feel that to achieve the FLN goals their should be appropriate teacher student ratio in our classrooms. The method of learning and the pace of learning of all children is different. So it is wrong to teach all the children in the same way. We should determine the teaching process or method keeping in mind the interests of the children, their social, family background etc., otherwise these children will lag behind.

  130. In a class of 55 students in class 1st 2nd and 3rd, with different parental background, socio economic status, surroundings, varied education standards of parents, varied aptitude , within a time limit of 40 minutes of interaction, with a teacher totally from a different state, it's a tough nut to classify every student by the teacher , but with the support of parents it can be done. Assessment strategy for every individual cannot be created but groups can be created as per the rubrics of learning. A student of class 1st 2nd and 3rd are not so mature to understand the competency expected from them , hence only parents and guardians should be trained to understand the expected competency, in order to have effective competency based learning.

Learner centered learning gives each child the scope for learning by doing under the teachers guidance. As from my experiences,Learner - centerd approach is an effective approach to provide leaning experience to children The benefits of accounting for variation in learning are tremendous as no child is then left behind andevery child is allowed to learn at his or her own pace without any inhibitions ..It would be an ideal situation. However, with limited time with both students and teachers as well as due to the large numbers we are dealing with, the success of the activity too is fruitful if planned properly
