ReplyDeleteFLN ki activities are really very good, but children should be less in number for sucessfully implementation.
DeleteFLN is a very impressive initiative of Corse but I personally feel we are missing a very significant point here. We are planning to teach children, in these formative years, in their mother-tongue , despite knowing the fact that a child's ability to learn any language is fastest at this stage , we are teaching them in a language which they will eventually learn even without our assistance.. its going to be a fiasco when that same child will reach to class 4 and will be exposed to all things in English, he will be crestfallen and same will be the teacher. Hence I personally feel the learning at formative years should be in a language which they need to learn at later years .

3 से 6वर्ष के बच्चों में सबसे अधिक सीखने की क्षमता होती है।FLN में छोटे बच्चे अपने आसपास के वातावरण से जोड़ते हुए नयी बातें सहज रूप से सीखेंगे , अपनी भाषा में,अपने तरीके से।घर में जो बोलना ,सोचना सीखा है अब व्यर्थ नहीं जाएगा।

ReplyDeleteECCE will be very helpful in achieving the objectives of FLN but I think with teaching in mother tongue, English should also be introduced at early stage as this is the time when learning is fastest among children and after class three they have to learn complex concepts in English language only.So at that stage it would be difficult for children to learn those concepts in English language.

FLN is the need of the hour as the survey has clearly pointed out the flat learning curve of around 5 crore children across India. So as teachers let us all pledge to nullify this learning gap by taking up this mission in true spirits so that the goals of NEP 2020 ar etotally achieved.

ReplyDeleteFLN is a very impressive initiative of Corse but I personally feel we are missing a very significant point here. We are planning to teach children, in these formative years, in their mother-tongue , despite knowing the fact that a child's ability to learn any language is fastest at this stage , we are teaching them in a language which they will eventually learn even without our assistance.. its going to be a fiasco when that same child will reach to class 4 and will be exposed to all things in English, he will be crestfallen and same will be the teacher. Hence I personally feel the learning at formative years should be in a language which they need to learn at later years
